Lot’s to say about this one, but I’ll keep it brief, this time. A few friends and I went to Haiti shortly after the quake, to see how we could help. We met a choir boy with a deadly tumor growing on his jaw, and we eventually brought him to Pittsburgh for a life-saving medical procedure at Allegheny General Hospital (amazingly awesome people there). This video features photography by Jesse Colaizzi and an interview shot/conducted by travel buddy, work buddy and fellow Penn Stater Ian Rosenberger. We used this but to help raise funds for the hospital’s operating costs during the surgery. See teamtassy.org for more on our efforts in Haiti and beyond.
